Today, Saint Andrew’s Day, we celebrate the life, work, and memory of Andreas Philippou, one of the two Co-Founders of J+A Philippou architects-engineers.

Unfortunately, this is the first year since the founding of our Practice that Andreas is not with us, but we hold dearly in our hearts and minds not only his love of architecture in general, but also the historic architecture of Cyprus – to which he devoted all his ‘free’ adult time, and for which he has published 3 Books.

Beyond their specificities, collectively these 3 Books are a testament of commitment, focus, devotion, and respect for what one inherits from previous generations and how this is handed over to the following ones.
