‘Westhill Limassol’ is a residential development in the eastern periphery of Limassol, situated in a unique location facing into the ancient Amathus archaeological site. The Project is comprised of four distinct yet interrelated buildings, which strive to balance continuity of a single development and differentiation.
Architecturally, the Project seeks to harness the context’s captivating and unique features – such as, dramatic topography, natural materiality, dense vegetation, and long-horizon sea-views. Indeed, ancient ruins uncovered on site during the project’s initial excavation works, have been seamlessly incorporated into the design – thereby enhancing the Project’s contextual coordination. Notwithstanding the proximity of the site to the national motorway, the orientation and specification of the project ensure both privacy (in terms of noise) and convenience (of access).
