This Residence is situated within a leafy urban area of Nicosia, close to the city’s historic core. Architecturally, the Project organises the primary living area as the geographical and performative epicentre of the house. As such, the living area is structured predominantly as a double-height volume, with strong continuity with the covered outdoor area and the garden.
By attaining a bold centrality, the living area is the space around which all others are relationally-defined – be that in a centrifugal way, as evidenced in the residence’s other main components (garden, swimming pool, and the like), or in a centripetal way, as registered in the house’s functional accommodation.
