‘Lake View’ is a multi-residential development in Limassol’s Polemidia District, which consists of 4 Apartment Buildings alongside a number of Common Facilities – namely, a Swimming Pool, a Gym, and several Residents’ Roof-Top Terraces. The project is located opposite Limassol General Hospital and due to its elevated plateau enjoys distant sea-views and a panorama of Limassol’s Salt Lake – hence its name. Moreover, the site itself exhibits moderate topographic variation, allowing the 4 Apartment Buildings to pursue an organisation of several datums.
The Project’s epicentre – in both spatial and performative senses – is the Swimming Pool and its associated open spaces and landscaped areas, which are supported by the Gym. The complex seeks an ‘affordable luxury’ quality, which translates to a careful balancing of planimetric efficiency, sectional coordination, and material restraint. As customary of all BBF Projects, UHA were involved in both façade design and the production of visuals. Having said that, the overall development has a strong organisational structure, which defines to a large degree the project’s overall exterior configuration.
