The Exhibition presented some of the early work of J+A Philippou architects engineers which covers a wide range of scales, programs and categories of buildings situated in different urban block conditions.
The projects express the spirit of enthusiasm, optimism and creative development during the first decade of Cyprus as an independent State.
The placement of the projects in the Exhibition space is informed by the geographical location of the works in the city, in an attempt to reveal their urban dimension. The aim of the exhibition was to illustrate the historical and architectural alterity of the works as well as to create a new relation with familiar buildings which manifest our everyday urban experience.
