Elmeni Court

This office building, housing the Nicosia District Land Registry, is located on a prominent corner plot in Engomi, adjacent to the roundabout on Nikou Kranidioti Street. The architectural composition consists of two distinct geometric volumes: a lower volume that acts as the base and an upper volume. The lower volume embraces the curvature of the plot, creating a continuous “wall” that responds to the shape of the surrounding road. In contrast, the upper volume, a rectangular structure, rests on top of the base and follows a symmetrical façade pattern. This configuration not only responds to its surrounding context but also creates harmony between the contrasting geometries, creating a balanced and rational architecture.
