In this Project, which concerns an Extension to and a Refurbishment of an Existing Hotel, the primary architectural ambition was to seek formal and operational continuity with an articulated differentiation.
The Project commenced from a respectful yet resourceful appraisal of the existing condition (itself comprised of both buildings and open spaces), which uncovered latent possibilities. In this way, a productive integration between the existing and the new was achieved, whose outcome was an upgraded experience, as well as a whole that surpasses the sum of its parts.
