City of Dreams (CoD) Mediterranean is a large-scale Integrated Casino Resort, which is located in the eastern periphery of Limassol. As a development CoD is truly unique in its physical size, complexity of operations and hospitality ambition. In this sense, CoD is one of only a handful such projects within the broader geographical region of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle-East – certainly Europe’s first integrated resort – offering a combination of high-end hospitality, premium entertainment, advanced gaming, and extensive complementary activities. The latter include, but are not limited to exquisite Dining Options, a high-quality Spa & Wellness Centre, the island’s largest Swimming-Pool complex, a Multipurpose Facility with associated Expo Areas, extensive Landscaping and Gardens, a Tennis Academy, as well as an Adventure Park.
Our Office has been part of the Project Team from inception to completion, in the capacity of both Architect and Record and Structural Engineer of Record, at the same time as managing a unique permitting process in close collaboration with various actors and stakeholders – some international and others local – within a challenging period (which included with the Covid-19 epidemic).
