The Interlace Apartment Building, in Ayios Dometios, occupies a corner plot, thus presenting the opportunity to orient all Living Rooms and associated Covered Balconies along the two street fronts.
Morphologically, the Building is organised as three distinct volumes which are held together by lesser elements. Complimenting and completing this formal move, the Project’s façades are articulated as continuous with various layers and elements (planters, screens windows and balconies) – thereby forging an architecture with a nuanced part-to-whole, yielding both exposed and private moments.
Utilising a palette of architectural elements and materials from the area’s residential architecture, enables the building to blend naturally in its context.
