This work-in-progress Project concerns a Multi-Residential Development for a site with challenging terrain in Yersokipou. While the graphics here might not be as \u2018polished\u2019 and seductive as those customarily presented by architects and developers, we take the view that these have a different value \u2013 as they reveal more directly the Project\u2019s Diagrammatic Intent.<\/p>\n
The project consists of both Apartment Buildings and Single-Family Dwellings, as well as a number of collective facilities. The proposed architecture places these collective spaces at the topographic peak, thereby ensuring that the Dwellings are distributed below the resulting \u2018collective life\u2019 plateau, while the Apartment Buildings are positioned around it \u2013 all enjoying long-distance horizon views.<\/p>\n
All buildings tactically negotiate the challenging topographic variation in a way which retains its natural terrain, thereby resulting in a project of considerable sectional displacement, which nonetheless achieves proper accessibility and strong cohesion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
